What is a wa.me link?
WhatsApp's official "Click to Chat" feature lets you begin a conversation with someone without having their phone number saved in your phone's address book first. As long as you know the person's full phone number, including country code, and they have an active WhatsApp account, a wa.me link takes that number and turns it into a URL that opens a ready-to-send chat, whether you have WhatsApp on your phone or use WhatsApp Web on a computer. WADirectSend builds that URL for you, so you only need to type the number itself, not the surrounding link syntax.
Is WADirectSend safe to use?
Yes. WADirectSend acts purely as a formatter: it takes the number and message you provide and assembles the official WhatsApp URL (https://wa.me/number), then redirects your browser to WhatsApp's own website or app to complete the send. That work happens entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript; the number and message text are never transmitted to our servers, and we don't see, store, or log them. The only thing saved locally is an optional "Recent Numbers" shortcut list, kept in your browser's localStorage so you can reuse a number quickly, which you can clear at any time and which never leaves your device.
